Coach Anthony is not just the founder of Above and Beyond Basketball Academy (ABBA); he's the heart and soul behind our ethos of pushing athletes beyond their limits. Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration from Xavier University, his academic credentials are matched only by his extensive coaching experience at both the high school and youth levels.

What sets Coach Anthony apart is his unwavering commitment to player development not just in terms of athletic skill, but in fostering deep, lasting relationships with his athletes. He believes in the power of basketball to teach invaluable life lessons, lessons that his players will carry with them long after they leave the court.

His passion for the game and dedication to his athletes is evident in the positive, dynamic environment he cultivates at ABBA. Coach Anthony ensures that players of all skill levels are welcomed as well as encouraged to grow, learn, and excel.

Coach Mike honed his skills on the courts of St. Andrew’s University, competing in Division II basketball, where he also earned his Bachelor's Degree in Sports & Recreation. With a coaching career spanning over seven years, he has adeptly mentored athletes from the elementary level to high school. Notably, in his inaugural season as a head coach, he led his high school team to a championship victory, showcasing his exceptional leadership and strategic planning abilities.
